Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!
by North Eastern Mindanao State University - Cagwait
This International Women’s Month, we celebrate the strength, wisdom, courage, and leadership of every Filipina who continues to shape our communities and our nation. From the past to the present, women have always been pillars of resilience and transformation. With this year’s theme, “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society – Every Woman Leads, EveryJuan Supports,” we are reminded that empowerment is not a journey taken alone. It is a shared responsibility — where women rise, and everyone stands beside them in support. Let us honor the voices that inspire change, the hearts that nurture progress, and the leaders who pave the way for a more inclusive and equitable society. Happy International Women’s Month! #InternationalWomensMonth #WEforGenderEquality #EveryWomanLeads #NEMSUCagwait
